About the USA Bowl Championship Series
The American Football Rules USA Bowl Championships Series is designed to bring together the best of the nation’s more than 1300 Minor League – Semi-Pro-Adult Amateur Football teams in a bowl setting. The USA Bowl National Championship has been played annually since 2005 during Martin Luther King Holiday weekend, with three USA Bowl National Championship games.
There are over 1200 Minor League/Semi-Pro/Adult Amateur Football Teams in America. To qualify to play in a USA Bowl National Championship game, football teams must be willing to travel nationally, win their league championship, be defending national champions, or win a minimum of 10 regular season games, along with being nationally ranked in the American Football Rules Top 25 Poll. The games are sponsored in part by the Daytona Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau and 360 Sports.
About the USA Bowl
American Football Rules USA Bowl Championship Series is designed to bring together the best of America’s minor league teams to play at the nation’s top travel destinations in a championship bowl setting. Hosted by 360 Sports and Events, the USA Bowl started in 2005. The Detroit Seminoles were crowned the first national champion. A few past National Champions include West Michigan Force (2012), South Buffalo Celtic (2011), DC Explosion (2010), Monroe County Sting (2008-09), Detroit Black Ravens (2007), West Michigan Force (2006), Detroit Seminoles (2005). Other past bowl winners include Vermont Ice Storm, St. Paul Pioneers, Virginia Crusaders, North Texas Stampede, Dallas Prime, Erie Express, Minneapolis Warriors, and Triad Outsiders.

360 Sports and Events is the rights holder for this event and has held more than 150 similar events nationally since 1996. Games have been held at great locations, including Mall of America Field at the HHH Metrodome, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Dayton Beach, Orlando, Miami, Florida, Charleston, WV, Mexico City Mexico, Chaipas Mexico, Chihuahua Mexico, Monterrey Mexico, Cancun Mexico, Canada and San Juan Puerto Rico.
